OD Relay marketplace

OD Relay is operated by Passport Informatics, LLC. It provides a marketplace where optometry practices can post temporary coverage opportunities and licensed optometrists can review and apply to them. Practices pay OD Relay listing-related fees. Practices and optometrists arrange and pay clinician compensation directly; OD Relay does not process that compensation.

Accounts and marketplace use

Users are responsible for accurate account, licensing, practice, availability, shift, and payment information and for safeguarding their accounts. Users must comply with applicable laws, professional obligations, posted shift commitments, and OD Relay’s marketplace controls. OD Relay may restrict access when necessary to protect users, enforce these terms, or operate the service.

Urgent Opportunity Alerts SMS program

Relief ODs may optionally enroll in recurring automated OD Relay text alerts for eligible urgent/Panic shift opportunities by entering a mobile number, checking the separate SMS consent box, and saving the preference while signed in. Consent is not a condition of using OD Relay.

Message frequency varies based on eligibility and available urgent opportunities and may be zero. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. Users may also change the preference while signed in. For assistance, email notifications@odrelay.com. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Participation in the SMS program is also subject to the OD Relay Privacy Policy. OD Relay records durable consent and opt-out state and will not intentionally send an alert after an effective opt-out.

Availability and changes

Marketplace opportunities, matching, communications, and availability are not guaranteed. OD Relay may update or discontinue features and may revise these terms prospectively. Continued use after an updated effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
